My name is John VanSpronsen and I am extremely proud to be part of something so important to me!

Growing up, my family had dogs and I never had the opportunity to experience cats until I met my wife, Chalsey.  She told me I would have to win over Haylo (her cat at the time) if I wanted to date her!

Considering I already loved animals and felt very in tune with them, winning him over wasn't difficult. However, in doing so I was introduced to something I never imagined would impact my life so much! Not only did I get to see the personality in each cat I met, but I also got to see the profound affect they have on people in so many ways! I've watched the impact they have on mental health issues and  physical health rehabilitation, relationships, the people they bring together, and so many more things!

When I realized the depth of the feral cat population, and the rate of growth in the populations worldwide, I realized we cant just sit around hoping someone else does something! I want to be, and inspire others to be, the change they want to see happening!

I also want to be able to rescue as many cats as we can from a problem humans created! My goal to help kittens in the mitten have a real impact is to educate the public on many aspects of cat ownership, as well as utilizing every skill I have to fundraise and obtain grants so that the impact we have sets an example for others and has a lasting impact on the feral cat population and those cats suffering right now.
