Special Needs!

Special needs cats are extremely special for many reasons! Do they take a little extra time, effort, and patience? Sure. But they make up for it in so many ways "normal" cats don't!

Special needs cats are very thankful, loving, and loyal family members! They rely on their family far more than most cats, which makes them bond quickly to their family.  They also show how thankful they are for the extra love and support by returning it far more than the average cats! Many of them are big cuddlers, shoulder cats, conversation carriers, and window watchers because when their family is gone, they are just waiting for them to return and come running to show they missed them!

Special needs cats also have a significant positive impact on our mental health as long as we are up for the task!

However, if you are not up for the task, special needs cats are not what you are looking for! They can be needy and require a lot of attention, and they deserve for us to be honest with ourselves and be sure we are ready for all of that!

If that sounds like something you are ready for, please fill out an application! Often times they are the hardest to find a home for because people like YOU are special as well, and often times very rare!

Be sure to click or tap on their picture to read their descriptions! Some of them have special personaility traits that require just the right furever home, and it may just be you!
